“ I'd love to give a 5 star but just can't. The service is fantastic. The gals are friendly and ready to please. The prices are fair and the little cafe is comfortable and clean. The food, though, isn't much to rave about. Breakfast potatoes have so much garlic they are hard to eat - and I'm a garlic lover - and they were cold. My hamburger was crispy around the edges - ordered medium. Omelets aren't uneatable, but greasy. So not a 5 star but we will continue to grab a bite there from time to time. The Friday fish is good -not fabulous, but good. But make sure you TELL them you want the French fries hot. Otherwise, no guarantees of that. Ergo, 4 stars. Well I have to change my review from 4 stars to 5. They got a new cook and breakfast was wonderful. Pancakes light and fluffy, eggs done RIGHT, home fries hot and no garlic. Yummmm. Oh, and let's not forget the over the top service of CK. ”

“ Atmosphere - Great! The restaurant is small (with about 7 four tops and a counter with 6 stools), but it has personality! The decor is country casual and I felt welcome and comfortable as soon as we entered the restaurant. Service - Excellent! There were two servers who were very pleasant and attentive. If only other restaurants would take their servers to this restaurant for training! Food - Excellent! I order the Western Omelette, which came with home fries. I chose the biscuit instead of toast. The omelette was large and served was served hot. The vegetables and cheese were fresh and ample. In short, it was one of the best that I have had in a long time. The fried potatoes were also served hot and they were delicious. The biscuit was also ample in size and it tasted like a homemade biscuit! Overall Value - Excellent! This restaurant is a gem! Unfortunately, we do not live anywhere near the restaurant. Otherwise, I would absolutely become a regular ”

“ This was the closest breakfast place to where we were staying and I am so glad it was. The dining area is very small, and it's handled by 2 servers. The grill is right in front of the counter so if you are sitting at the counter, you can watch them cooking. The menu has typical breakfast items and everything is made to order. The server was quick to make a fresh pot of decaf for us. I settled on a ham and cheese omelet with home fries and rye toast. While waiting for our food, we enjoyed the ambiance and all the locals that came to eat. The servers knew them all and took good care of them. Food arrived quickly and was hot and looked great. The home fries were fresh chunks of potatoes cooked on the grill and were yummy. The omelet was huge, and filled to the brim with ham. There was cheese, but I would have liked a little bit more. The toast was truly toasted and nice and buttered. Overall, great breakfast. Service was great the entire time. ”
